To provide an environment suitable to the instruction and enjoyment of music. The lesson plans include a balance of theory, sight reading, ear training and repertoire appropriate to the student's level of proficiency. All students will be respected as individuals and progressed according to their ability.
We offer 30, 45, and 60 minute weekly lessons. Tuition has been determined by cost averaging. Therefore, months that have more or fewer lessons are built into our tuition prices. Holidays and vacations are also averaged into our tuition costs. Tuition is due in advance of each month received. Tuition is paid by Credit Card. Students need to provide our office the credit card information at the time of enrollment. If your credit card information changes, promptly advise us to avoid a late processing fee of $40. Tuition is adjusted annually.
There is an annual non-refundable school year registration fee of $125. This non-refundable fee is charged in August or upon enrollment of Music lessons. The fee covers business and administrative expenses, venues for the recital, and trophy contest winners.
Missed lessons may be made up at the teacher's discretion depending upon available time. No refunds, deductions, or credits are given for missed lessons. Lessons missed by the teacher will automatically be made up. If a lessons must be cancelled, you must give the teacher 34 hours notice, so he or she can adapt their schedule accordingly. Makeup lessons must be made up within 30 days of missed lesson.
If your child has received new music, a bill will be sent home with him or her. Please reimburse your teacher at the next scheduled lesson. Please enclose the statement with your check for accounting purposes. Your cancelled check will be your receipt.
During lesson time it is important that there are no distractions. It is the parents' responsibility to provide a home environment conducive to good learning habits and to communicate with the teacher about any concerns, as they present themselves. Use the same approach with music that you have for the rest of your child's education. Successful students are those students whose parents are actively involved in their music lessons and practice. Keep your instrument in good repair and properly tuned. Students are expected to prepare properly for lessons by keeping fingernails short and hands clean.

We recommend that each student participate in our annual June recital. The Recital for parents and friends is scheduled far enough in advance in order to plan ahead.
